9月21日，@西安雄师哥 参加 #2018临夏国际美食民族用品博览会# 期间与一起参会的朋友、网红主播来到八坊十三巷观光游览。在与坊中的居民聊天了解到，从唐朝至今，这里形成了八个教坊、十三条街巷，故称为“八坊十三巷” 。八坊十三巷是对唐代以来古建筑的复原。建筑风格完全仿古设计，几乎再现了旧时的原貌，也算是临夏市政府对城市建设的一个大手笔。在这里，能看到回族砖雕、汉族木刻、藏族彩绘，雕梁画栋，亭阁廊台，青砖绿瓦，堪称精美。蜿蜒小巷，市井烟火，恍若旧时。集各民族特色、休闲旅游、绿色生态、人文科教为一体，呈现出少数民族的生活画卷，是河州民族民俗文化名片，民族建筑艺术的“大观园”。

八坊十三巷是典型的回族聚居区，由大寺坊、祁寺坊、西寺坊、北寺坊等八坊，大旮巷、小南巷、坝口巷、北巷、沙尕楞巷、专员巷等十三巷组成。街巷结构最早形成于清初，具有临夏传统建筑的主要特征。坊中寺院融中国古典建筑风格和阿拉伯文化特色于一体，建筑气势宏伟，庄严肃穆，秀丽壮观。
